“She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
Winter is dead.”
–A.A.Milne, “When We Were Very Young”
Happy Spring to the Northern Hemisphere.
Wonderful Autumn to the Southern Hemisphere.
Blessed warmth to those who don’t feel the difference.

ha, i love this –
Good thing spring doesn’t wait for the first Batman to show up. 😏
LOL – Ah, Mary, you know spring all too well! ;-)!
My first sign of spring was the sounds of geese and sandhill cranes. I think the Robin’s were buried in snow up until this past week.
I haven’t heard those birds yet, just the crows. I haven’t seen a Robin or Batman yet, either! 😉
Great cartoon, and beautiful words. Let’s hope spring rolls in and never looks back.
Right, Dan. Winter is dead because we deserve it. Happy spring!
You do. You’ve had enough winter this year.
Long live Queen Spring!
Cue the trumpets!
Where is spring? I am soooo ready!
It’s here Laurie! The snow has been melting and my cats are shedding.
LOL. This made me smile.
Glad I could help. 🙂
Awww. love this
Thank you! Enjoy the new season!
Happy spring to you, Mary. As a disliker of 40C+ days, I say “Welcome, Autumn!” (Thank you for using the appropriate word for our culture. 😊)
Love the cartoon.
I imagine your sweat has been sweating of late. Here’s to cooler weather for you and maybe snow at some point. Your snow. Australian snow. Keep it there. 😏😎
Isn’t it wonderful!! The smell of earth awakening. Was out raking winter deadfall. Loved it!
I’ve always loved the smell of dirt and new grass in the spring. It’s the best!
Ha, ha…this is so funny.
Pat
I thought so too. 🙂
