“She turned to the sunlight
    And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
    Winter is dead.”

–A.A.Milne, “When We Were Very Young”

My first sign of spring was the sounds of geese and sandhill cranes. I think the Robin’s were buried in snow up until this past week.

I haven’t heard those birds yet, just the crows. I haven’t seen a Robin or Batman yet, either! 😉

  1. Happy spring to you, Mary. As a disliker of 40C+ days, I say “Welcome, Autumn!” (Thank you for using the appropriate word for our culture. 😊)

    Love the cartoon.
