Butt, what kind?

I’m confused.

Is the yellow arrow pointing to where the butts are?

If yes, what kind of butts?

Is it obvious – the kind of butts – or is there an alternative definition?

Do they want me to go to the butts, look at the butts or throw them in the trash?

Will I be arrested if I take the wrong action with the wrong butts?

Any idea? Answers?

When I first saw the sign I thought there were three messages. The first one was a misspelling: Butt instead of Butte (small flat top mountain), the last two are self-explanatory but without punctuation it takes a while to figure out what it means!

The fishing area is on Little Lake Buttes des Morts, so you weren’t far off on the spelling part.

I’m glad to have friends who look at the world a little sideways. I just hope you were able to keep your butt out of trouble – whichever one it was.

You’re supposed to use your Little Orphan Annie secret decoder ring. The message would be fine if anyone had bothered to print it sequentially. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Confusion reigns. But Butts at Buttes des Morts seems to be on their own… I wouldn’t want to butt in!
