A Gray Muse or Two

Gray Muse or Two,

we know you so well.

Of royal blood you are,

not cats from hell.

*The peanut gallery snickers*

Gibbs 001 (2)
Don’t let the cool exterior fool you. Ever.

This is your day to shine.

to bask in the glow and gently purr.

A challenge that pushes you front,

to be Master Gibbs and Queen Demure.

*The human owner unwillingly bows*

Ziva Muse
The Queen can be so cute when she desires.

Revel in the enormous moment

Of 15-minute feline celebrity.

The likes, the comments, the idolization,

the followers on bended, adoring knee.

*The peanut gallery finds this clawingly uncomfortable and leaves*

I love when cats sit with their paws extended like that. My kingdom! All this is mine! Gotta love it.

Someone posted a video to my FB page with a cat that’s been trained to do tricks. I need to try that on Gibbs, he needs more stimulation than what I am giving him.

Our little cat MiMi loves to play “little foam ball” but she mostly sits and baps the ball after you toss it to her. Sometimes, the ball will land about an inch in front of her and she gives us that “it’s so far…” look. Good luck with the tricks.

Such clever writing … love the voice of the peanut gallery 🙂
Great pics, too. Cats really do rule the world, don’t they?
