Gentle eyes that see so much,
paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal “all is well”
and show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
a calming presence by our side
A friendship that takes time to grow
Small wonder why we love them so.

That’s a sweetie for sure. I need for MuMu to read the part about “paws quiet touch”. She likes to poke us at night with a pretty loud “I need you to scratch me” meow accompanying each poke.

Hey, MuMu is a “sharp” girl, knows how to use what she’s got! :-p

I probably shouldn’t say this, but that sweetie used her claws a few days ago to let me know that she was done with me scratching her chest. There was no blood, but she received a bit of a scolding. Naughty girl.

What a wonderfully apt poem you managed to find. (Although, the line “paws that have the quiet touch” made me choke on my tea.)
