Sing Christmas!

I’ve been at it since before Thanksgiving,

the Christmas singing.

At home.

At work.

In the car.

Probably to the consternation of those who don’t appreciate a sometimes off-key alto.

Don’t care, though.

I love music, but especially the Christmas kind.

Spreading cheer and good news.

Singing about Santa, but most often about the newborn King.

Pentatonix, Michael Buble, Chris Tomlin, For King and Country, Trans Siberian Orchestra, and more.

The classics and the modern.

Fast and slow.

Uplifting and beautiful.

Every year it’s the same.

I take the advise of an Elf

and sing Christmas with great gusto.

OUT LOUD.

Fa-la-la and Merry Christmas!

Alas, “the uploader has not made this video available in your country”. Sighh ..
Never mind: the spirit’s there, eh, M-J ?

Do a Google search for King & Country for that song. They do an amazing version of Little Drummer Boy. The video I posted was from a Christmas show here, so perhaps that’s why it’s not available.

At my age life is one long holiday. But I fink you might be referring to the period during which everyone else is also on holidays, yes ? – in which case, she said Scrooge-like, a pox on all of them. They fill the shops and drive like maniacs. Sighh .. [grin]
Season’s greetings to you, my mid-western mate !

Yes, this is the time of year that I avoid the big shopping mall and the crowds. My holiday will be a leisurely one, trying to spend more time in my pajamas. Please aim your pox at the holiday traffic. I live very close to said mall and getting around this time of year can induce much impatience and heavy sighing.

  2. This reminds me, I must change the channel from Cat Videos to Christmas Fireplace on the TV. Which will be weird to look at because the TV sits upon the fireplace. So, I won’t look, I’ll just listen, and like you, sing at the top of my lungs.

    FA LA LA

    Merry Christmas, MJ

I’m a sing along-er too! I love Christmas music because I know all the words. Thanks for “The Little Drummer Boy”!

YES! Singing is almost constant here. I love Pentatonix, but that King and Country Drummer Boy was the perfect mid-morning energizer!

The drummer boy rendition is my favorite this year. I must watch it a few more times before the holiday ends. And sing! Have a very merry Christmas and holiday season!

Ha! Nope, no country twang, but I think they were invited to the CMA’s as a Christian band. The Country in their name refers to Australia, their home territory, which has an entirely different twang!

I sing a lot of Christmas songs, too. Is nice. I enjoy. My family, not so much, but I enjoy πŸ˜€ Sing on!

I love the catchy tunes of Christmas music and jingles.

So do I. The Christmas music may have ended on the radio today, but I’ll keep play my CD’s or streaming from the internet for at least another week.
