SoCS: Framing the Week

As of today, I’m on vacation. December of 2018 was the last month I had a full week’s vacation. I’m so ready. Let me put a frame around what I have in mind in regard to the week’s agenda. Spending time with these two crazy kids. 2.  Sleeping in. 3.  Staying in my pajamas as long as possible. If I make it all day, I can award myself bonus points. 4.  Having a morning cup of sweet, milky tea outRead more

SoCS: A Trail of Instructions

It’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday and Linda Hill is asking bloggers to do this: “Write instructions for anything you know how to do. As detailed or as rambling as you’d like.” Really? Write instructions for something I know? Gah! I’ve spent a few hours this week writing instructions for a Human Resources manual. I have church and go visit mom every Sunday and youRead more

Resolution

My resolution is true. Just want to be a stay-at-home cat mom. Bang on the food dish all day, nap with my head upside down and feet in the air. A stay-at-home cat mom. No worries of deadlines, sleep until the sun comes up mind without a care. A stay-at home mom to the kids, with whom I can play. Take up a new hobby if the open agenda dares. I want to be a stay-at-home cat mom, to write,Read more

Break Time!

As of December 23, 2014, at approximately 1 pm, I will be on vacation from work. I don’t have to go back until January 5th. Much like a five year old child on Christmas Eve, I can hardly wait. Instead of the “Twelve Days of Christmas,” this will be the Twelve Days of Vacation. WooHoo! To honor and respect this time off, I will be holding myself to as little blogging as possible. You won’t hear a peep from me the remainder ofRead more
