This week’s entry for Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CBWC) includes photos of things to drive. Easy peasy. If you will forgive black and white photos of photos, I’m happy to share a few moments from my days as a leather-clad biker chick. I was born to be somewhat wild, always looking for adventure. The motorcycle days came to an end in late 2009 and I eventually traded in motorized two wheels for leg-powered two wheels. While I missRead more

Black and White Bench
This week’s entry for Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CBWC) is any kind of seating. The following photos are from a 2014 camping trip with girlfriends and hike on the Ice Age Trail in northern Wisconsin. Devour the Kibble!
Have you ever bent over your food and devoured it with gusto and without thought because you were simply ravenous? Gibbs the cat devours his food as if it were his last meal. He claims in “meows” that it’s past time to eat because he has been wasting away to nothing. To nothing…skin and bones. The evil human makes him wait too long, but once the food is upon him, he eats – sometimes wolfing it down in mere minutes,Read more
A Cat’s Black & White View
A somewhat spotty window to his world. The cat tree is positioned so a male cat can see. Birds, trees, bunnies, a feral cat, people, cars, the horrid garbage truck, the back of a Costco, and his human driving away to who-knows-where. A cat’s vision is similar to a human that is color blind. While Gibbs may see some colors, I wonder how much of his world is a scene and motion in black and white. He sits here mostRead more

Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge and Pets
I rarely, if ever, engage in Cee’s photo challenges. No offense to Cee and her beautiful photography, it’s more a matter of little time and non-opportunity than being unwilling to participate. However, I couldn’t pass up this one. Black and White Pets…are you kidding me? I’m not sure how many photos I’ve taken of the felines, Gibbs and Ziva, but a few are in black and white. Just a few. So, without further ado, I give you the black andRead more
