The first Monday of twenty twenty-two
A new beginning, the day of week’s start
In which I offer a woke dream to you
With sincere thought from Pollyanna heart
We live, we breathe with upright conviction
Blessings from the mighty hand of a God
It is this life that offers addiction
To the marvel of a positive nod
Gratitude gives us more than one reason
Days to see blue skies through ashen-gray clouds
Hope builds, aspires to craft a smile’s season
The way past a negative world too loud
Turn your Monday into a Tuesday bright
Keep going and live life like Betty White
Lovely Mary. Thanks.
You’re welcome, Cheryl!
Well written and lovely to read.
Thanks Maggie. Have a wonderful new year!
Thank you. The same to you!
This is a lovely message, a timely message and a very good idea. Thinking about the things we are grateful for really does make us feel better. I think you’re onto something, Mary.
I was watching a tribute to Betty White and they said she was a very positive and optimistic person. Betty didn’t have time for the Debbie Downers of the world. So, Dan, it’s incentive to find gratitude and smile!
That’s a nice take-away from her amazing life.
Lovely words and a lovely tribute.
Thank you, Pam!
A very positive poem!! Loved it from start to finish!
Thank you! 🙂❤
Delightful thoughts here. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Ally!
Nice! I like it.
Thanks Judy. Hope you are having a wonderful week!
Gratitude is powerful! Thanks for the thought of Betty White. Just remembering her smile and wit can lift my mood.
I loved Betty White. It feels so odd that she’s gone.
I know. She used to joke about living forever.
