#CBWC: Bumpy & Lumpy

This week’s entry for Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CBWC) includes photos of things that are bumpy or lumpy.

NOTE: Evidently, lumpy and bumpy has been postponed for a week, but I hope you enjoy regardless.

If my readers can stand it, I have a few more photos of Colorado from the two and a half week vacation in October and November…this time in black and white. I hope you enjoy!

Entering Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs.
There are plenty of lumps and bumps in Colorado.
Going down from the top of Pike’s Peak.
Going up Pike’s Peak. It reminds me of a Star Trek alien planet at the top.
My brother led the way at Castlewood Canyon State Park, near Denver.
There was no lack of lumps and bumps and rocks in the canyon.
The flat of a reservoir with a bump on its shore.

Thanks Pam. The B&W photos are such a contrast to the sunny, blue skies that were in most of them…a bit of an eerie vibe.

So much beauty, Lois! I can’t afford to live there, but it’s going to be a wonderful place to visit and see mountains every day while I’m there.

Great lumps and photos. However, I’m skipping a week and Lumpy won’t be a topic until next week. 😀

Well the black and white certainly accentuates the architectural magnificence although the stark beauty is missing with the lack of color. Certainly bumpy and lumpy are represented.👍🏻

Thanks Dan. I’m a week early, but I’m also done (I think) with CO photos. On to something new and boring! 🙃

Thanks for visiting me! Ah, I have been to the Garden on the Gods (accompanying hubby who had a lucrative job there, and the one for whom he worked insisted we should go there), In one of my paintings I chose a big rock from that garden.

Garden of the Gods is a beautiful place and I can understand why part of it is in your painting. The entire area is beautiful, worthy of a painter’s brush anywhere you go.

The B&W photo doesn’t get the credit it deserves! The texture and contrast of your photos are wonderful…

Great twist on this theme! The photos are wonderful. A long time ago, my boyfriend and I camped in Garden of the Gods, and we drove up Pike’s Peak. Colorado has some marvelous scenery!

Thank you. The mountains of Colorado are so stunning that it’s difficult to not get a good photo. I hope to go back this year and see more of the beauty.
