I don’t know that any of us could answer that question other than with the easy answer: Wine.
Wine was not in that cup, but perhaps Jesus was also a fan of tea. Hmmm…I wonder.
I am 100% sure he didn’t know what pumpkin pie/chocolate chip baked oatmeal was in his time.
His loss. Yum.
Anyhow…this is not a religious one-liner post, but more about what’s brewing in my cup of life.
I’ll be somewhat off the grid as of Friday morning – heading to Colorado to visit with the brother and see the sights for about 10 days, then staying on another seven days to offer support as he has a bit of surgery. I won’t bore you with details of the latter, but only ask that you think positive, recuperative thoughts for him.
I’m taking my laptop with me, along with the kitchen sink (as usual), so may be online here and there. If I’m not blogging, you can catch me on my Instagram account or on Twitter. Chances are, there will be the sharing of numerous photos of mountains, more mountains and beer…because who goes somewhere and doesn’t check out the local microbrews?
This will be the first airplane adventure since before Covid-19 and the end of the two years I have not been face-to-face with my brother or his significant other. I’m excited for the trip, but will be back on November 8th with stories to tell and more photos to share. Guaranteed.
Take care, peeps, and keep the blog fires burning.

Safe travels, happy family visit, positive thoughts on your brother’s surgery, and I’ll look for the beer and mountain photos. 🙂
Thanks for the positive thoughts, Judy. I’ll be sure to get a few good photos out into the internet.
I hope you have nice easy and idiot-free flights and a safe trip all around. Enjoy your visit – family, mountains, beer and food. We’ll be keeping good thoughts, saying a few prayers and I’ll have MuMu give Gibbs a call at 3:00 am.
Ha! I think Gibbs called MuMu this past week and she gave him a few tips about asking for attention at 3:00 am. It worked on his end, but not so much on mine.
Thanks for the good wishes, Dan. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers while I’m gone.
Have a safe trip. Best wishes for your brother. And we will be here when you get back.
Thanks Pam, I appreciate your well wishes.
Jesus would brew something fair trade. Have a safe trip!
That’s true, JoAnna. Thank you!
Here’s hoping you have a carefree flight and wonderful days with your family. Sending healing thoughts for your brother. I’m looking forward to the photos and update on microbrews in that area! 🍻
I was in Colorado many years ago and remember how beautiful it was…so looking forward to whatever comes this time.
Safe travels, Mary, and as Dan says, I hope the trip is idiot-free. And good thoughts for your brother.
Thanks Lois! Yes, no idiots on the planes or in the airports. A peaceful trip would be good.

I don’t know that any of us could answer that question other than with the easy answer: Wine. That line made me smile, Mary. 🙂
