Monday Mash-Up

Today is a bit of this and that

Photo images of where it’s at

Trails, flowers and an unashamed cat

A mash-up entry of the last few weeks

Nothing outrageously new or unique

Images of the days that gratefully speak

Down a hill, up a hill, pedaling away

Going as far as I say it’s okay

Enjoying a sun or cloud-infused day

Sitting on a patio, taking in the sight

Flowers in purple, funky orange and white

This is the human’s summer delight

A walk through the woods surrounded by marsh

A stroll on the sidewalk never physically harsh

An amble to the dumpster with feet and German arsch

Thinking of certain others as I go on my route

The things they cherish and go on about

It adds to life’s joy and existence, no doubt

Not quite finished, I go back for more

Of the dirt and pots and colors I adore

Continued therapy or perhaps a coleus whore

Life goes on for us and feathered friends alike

We’re born, we eat, we fly, we hike

And me?

I’ll be cleaning house, making lunch, or on the bike

I liked this mash-up a lot. A nice assortment of wonderful things (especially Gibbs). You have to have a great outlook to find the good in everything. I hope your temps stay spring like. Enjoy the ride.

The weekend weather was weird, Dan – Saturday 83, Sunday 50’s – but the past week was good. We’re getting some needed rain, but it is to be expected in May cuz it’s Wisconsin!

Gibbs says he knew you’d like his photo best, but I’m happy you liked all of them. Happy Monday!

Your mash-up post is wonderful. I love things like this, just what’s going on– a glimpse into your life. Happy cleaning and lunching and biking.

I seem to be keeping fairly busy, Ally, and it’s been most favorable. I didn’t have flowers on the patio last year, so that has put a smile on my heart, along with being able to bike wherever and whenever. More to come, we still have summer!

The neighbor had momma and two babies in her planter. The babies have since left, but momma and daddy still come around. I just have to make sure Gibbs is not on the patio when they’re perched on the railing.

You light-hearted poem made me smile and eventually chuckle out loud! I love the photos and especially the nesting mourning doves!
