The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Amen. I hope your days have been wonderful, Mary.
They have been awesome, Lois. It was a nice break from work.
Wonderful interpretation of the Psalm. Meaningful and fun.
Thanks Ally. The Psalm was hanging on the wall of a restaurant we ate at, which gave me a bit of inspiration.
Listen to this, M-J:
I believe you will enjoy it
MR, your link isn’t working on my phone. I’ll take a look on my laptop when I get home tonight.
It IS pretty old … Fingers crossed but !
M-R, that was a beautiful song. Come and meet me in the middle of the air… It almost brought tears to my eyes, just lovely!
Wonderful!
Thank you!
❤️
🙂
Perfect.
That area of Minnesota is lovely, so it fit perfectly.
This is wonderfully constructed. I kept thinking ‘oh, that’s my favourite’ and then I’d get further on and find another one. I liked the last path of righteousness and then the anointed oil and then the first goodness and mercy and then the stained glass windows. Such richness. 🙂
This was a beautiful area of Minnesota. Just lovely. I have so many photos, it was hard choosing the ones to use for the post.
I would love to go back to the adult refreshment in hand and viewing the green pastures from the bicycle seat.
This was a wonderful post. I love the pictures, and you combined it for a nice bit of inspiration. Thanks!
You’re welcome Dan! I was inspired all week by the beauty of it all. Would gk back there in s heartbeat.
Great visual interpretation of the Psalm, you inspired me to do something like that on my journeys bicycle ride.
Thanks! I am more than happy to give you a two-wheeled shove. Easy shove, of course…😁
Seems you couldn’r view the video. Shame – big shame: it is so relevant to your post.
M-R, I forgot all about going to YouTube on the laptop. I shall do it now and report back.
Mary, that was WONDERFUL. The best version I’ve ever read.
Thank you! It was a pleasure experiencing the Psalm in person and sharing with everyone.
