It’s been that kind of week

“If I see another bunny or squirrel run across my desk, I’m gonna shoot it.”

(Spoken to a fellow employee by Yours Truly)

Before anyone calls PETA or Dan summons The Editor, let me explain.

It’s been that kind of week.

A bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel week.

There’s a lot going on.

I love chocolate chip mint coconut milk ice cream.

Costco is out of my Mediterranean salad mix. Ugh.

I almost forgot to write a One-Liner post.

It’s been that kind of week.

A bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel week.

There’s a lot going on.

I love birthday potlucks at work.

I would never hurt a bunny or squirrel. They’re so cute.

Actually, I would hurt a dark chocolate Easter bunny with my teeth.

It’s been that kind of week.

A bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel week.

There’s a lot going on.

I went for the first bike ride of the season on Sunday afternoon.

Did I tell you that I almost forgot to write this post?

Good thing I remembered.

It’s been that kind of week.

A bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel, bunny, squirrel week.

There’s a lot going on.

Ziva just puked up her kibble.

Excuse me while I go clean it up.

Friday cannot come soon enough.

This post has been brought to you by squirrels and bunnies and a cat with indigestion. It has also been brought to you by Linda G. Hill’s “One-Liner Wednesday.” All you need to play along every week is an awesome one-liner and follow a few rules. Birds on a wire are not required, but make sure you link back today’s post to HERE so the rest of us #1linerweds peeps can read it.

I want so much to reach into the screen, rub that belly and no doubt have my hand shredded.

I was close to texting the Editor, but I knew you wouldn’t hurt a real bunny. I hope your week turns the corner today and ends on a note of sanity. If not, I hope you have plenty of lettuce and peanuts (and paper towels for the cat puke.)

    • bikerchick57 says:

Thanks for the good sanity wishes, Dan. I will need them…and more paper towels. Yeah, she’s adorable and I want to pet that belly too, but don’t trust her and stand back when she pukes.

Been a little distracted, have you? 🐰

My week (so far) has been rather ducky. The ducks finally returned on Monday – a month overdue! For us, that is the clearest sign that spring has arrived. It may be raining today, but I have my happy on 🦆

    • bikerchick57 says:

Yay for the ducks! We’ve had ducks and geese and other birds for a while, but that last snowstorm probably made them all wonder why they were here. The weather forecast calls for sunny and 75F on Monday. It might be a day worth taking off and getting on the bike again. It’s hard to get distracted by anything else when there’s a bike to ride. 🙂

LOL – this post brought a smile to my morning! Happy Wednesday – only two more days to go (once you get through today!)…! Glad to read you got out to ride your bike!

    • bikerchick57 says:

Happy Wednesday to you too, Shelley! I’ll try to stay away from wild animals today and enjoy the sunshine outside my window. 🙂

  4. JoAnna says:

Enjoy your next bike ride! I hope it’s soon, and that the bunnies and squirrels will go off and play amongst themselves. Meanwhile, I’m going to be keeping an eye out for chocolate chip mint coconut milk ice cream.

    • bikerchick57 says:

I hope to get back out on the bike very soon. Once I get out on the tree-lined, gravel trails, I’ll be very happy.
Look for Nada Moo brand of the coconut milk ice cream. It’s sooooo good!

    • bikerchick57 says:

Well, that can be frustrating too, Frank. I suppose when he doesn’t run across, he’s laying on your papers. Am I right?

      • Frank Hubeny says:

Or rubbing up against the monitor which is touch screen. But I don’t mind. He’s the only one who uses the touch screen feature.

Oh goodness. Are you going to have the good weather this weekend? I hope you get a bike ride in. I hope your salad mix and your ice cream make it to your cart, too. Two more days and hey, this one’s already begun!

    • bikerchick57 says:

Sunday will be a nice day, but I truly want to take Monday off and enjoy the 75 degree day…eat ice cream…relax.

    • bikerchick57 says:

Thanks M-R! I had another busy bunny/squirrel day at work, but the good thing is that I got bright yellow spring flowers from the bosses for Administrative Professionals Day. They kept me smiling every time I’d look at them.

  6. LB says:

So sorry about the bad day (over a week ago, now). How was the bike ride though?

    • bikerchick57 says:

The bike ride was nice but short, Laurie. Part of the trail still had snow and I didn’t want to overdo it first time out. I was going to go out again today, but ran out of time. Maybe next weekend…
