Giving Love

“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

~Mother Teresa~

As you run around the next 19 days, finishing your Christmas shopping and running up the credit card…remember the words of Mother Teresa. Put love in your giving instead of a price tag or the goal of a perfect gift. Your loved one may prefer a fuzzy, warm red heart rather than another electrical appliance, navy blue tie or Santa coffee mug.

This post has been brought to you by giving love and Mother Teresa. It has also been brought to you by Linda G. Hill’s “One-Liner Wednesday.” All you need to play along every week is an awesome one-liner and follow a few rules. Birds on a wire are not required, but make sure you link back today’s post to HERE so the rest of us #1linerweds peeps can read it.

  1. So important to remember this and not lose sight of what really matters, both during this time of year and always. Thank you for sharing this!

You’re welcome. I always prefer to give from the heart and be thoughtful about giving so that it means something to the recipient.

Remembering why we are giving is a great step toward keeping the spirit of the holiday in mind. Very nice, Mary.
