The “Gibbers” on Top

DP Weekly Photo Challenge:ย This week, share a photo of a detail that makes a good thing even better.

I have a cat who loves to be on top of things, and I’m not talking about the status of the U.S. economy and foreign trade.

Gibbs (a/k/a Gibbers or Gibbster) was rescued from a shelter that has no cages. He was in a room with three other cats, allowed to explore the vertical furniture and climb to new, exciting heights. When I picked him up for the first time, he immediately crawled onto my shoulders and made himself at home. I choose this one!

The Gray Wonder prefers to exploit the top of the chair, the top of the patio railing (which is highly discouraged), the top of the kitchen counters (verboten), or the top of one of two cat trees. This gray “cherry” is the crowning touch to an otherwise inanimate object. He is the Gibbers on top.

Love! I used to have a cat that would sleep on the top of any open door! ๐Ÿ™‚ So cute!

Oh yes, and she would just jump up into my arms when she wanted to be held. She also would put her paw over my mouth when I sang. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I guess she didn’t like it lol!!

Beautiful photographs of Gibbs, no doubt he’s on top of things!

Thanks Herman! Right now, Gibbs is on top of the chair, keeping his human on top of feeding time. Relentless, he is.

You are absolutely okay to share that post. It’s about a cat – this crazy cat lady loved it!
It’s not cool when bloggers go to a website and leave unrelated or inappropriate links and then say, “Hey, come and see my blog!” It’s usually an attempt to get people to their blog in the hope they will follow rather than trying to build a blogging relationship with someone.
