It’s not the water inside the cup that’s a response to this week’s photo challenge. It’s the chair.
It’s not the padding inside the chair. It’s the chair.
It’s not the snow or the shadow inside the framework of this photo. It’s the chair.
The chair belongs inside. Inside the office.
Someone took the chair outside on Monday during lunch. The chair needed sun and warmth.
It had been inside for five months.
Thirty minutes outside was not too much to ask.
The chair eventually made its way back inside the office.
It will be back outside again…one day soon.
The next time it’s 50 degrees.
For now, though, the chair is inside.
If the brain inside your head is telling you this is pretty lame, click here for other interpretations of inside.
I really like this. Why? Because I am hoping that you were outside, in the sun, sipping a beverage. If only for a few brief moments. I’m hoping that this last round of foul weather is indeed the last and that spring will be making its presence known. I’m hoping because an office chair inside is only an office chair, but an office chair outside, is a transport mechanism to far away places. Cheers, and happy weekend.
Yes, I was outside…sitting in the chair, face toward the sun, letting the warmth seep into my brain and recharge me.
You are waxing so imaginative, these days – and I love it ! π
Thanks, M-R. I think the coming of spring is helping the imagination. π
Wishing you lots of outsides on the chair
Thanks for the wishes, Chris.
A different take, one left up to the imagination of the viewer, guided by an excellent story. Nice job.
As for me, this theme turned out to be much more pleasant than I initially thought and you’re surely welcome to come and find out just what I mean. π

Thank you for your positive comment!

Il sole rigenera, quindi se eri su quella sedia hai fatto una bella scelta π
Ciao, Patrizia
I’m looking forward to more of the spring regeneration, Patrizia. π
ArriverΓ e ti auguro di godertela tutta π
Sì, lo farò!
I enjoyed reading about the chair. The one I’m sitting on right now has never seen the glimpse of Sunlight. It’s a permanent resident in this corner!
Take the poor chair outside next time it’s sunny. You can sit on it and mix up a cake batter. π
Hopefully soon we will all be sitting outside in the chair taking in some sun and warmth. Loooong winter.
Very long winter, Phil. Let’s hope that spring brings a break in the weather.
