There are leftovers on the patio. Winter pansies. How long will they live?

In the summer, the patio gives extra room and refuge among the flowers. In the winter, it lays bare.

Gibbs and Ziva are not fans of the winter patio. The cold air and lack of human furniture to hide under make it less than appealing.

The kids give it their last shot outside. It doesn’t last long before they return to the warmth of their inside home.

Eventually, the pansies will die, the pots will disappear, and the patio door will stay shut until spring.

Leftovers…the last memory of summer…slowing slipping away.

(Next up: Three girlfriends engage in an Iron Chef weekend and the creation of food leftovers. Stay tuned!)

Yup, Today, although it’s colder, I am so glad the sun is out. Three days of clouds, rain and blech was enough.

Calling all bloggers, I’m compiling a list of freshman bloggers ( anyone with less than 200 followers) so we can find and support each other. If you’re interested or know anyone who might be, send your URL and I’ll include you on the list. I’ll post it when I get enough names.
